Lorena Fernández, Director of Digital Identity at the University of Deusto and member of the Gender Interdisciplinary Research Platform has published "Shadow here, shadow there: discriminatory facial recognition" in The Conversation.
In the article, she discusses the fact that although new technologies allow facial recognition, emotions identification, gender and race identification, algorithms do not work equally well with everyone.
