Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid
The Lilly Foundation, in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), The Conversation and the Spanish Association of Scientific Communication, presented the publication "Informing science with science" on April 20 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid.
This work is a guide book in which specialists in science communication research and scientific journalism address, in a practical way, different issues that people face in their day-to-day lives. The different chapters address data journalism, how to report on health, interactive, transmedia and immersive narrative, infographics, environmental communication, the scientific journalistic method...
Lorena Fernández Álvarez, head of digital communication at the University of Deusto, has participated in the chapter "Gender perspective in science communication" together with the journalist Jéssica Murillo Ávila.
