La profesora Nere Jone Intxaustegi ha participado en el Congreso Internacional Interactions, Exchanges, and Transformations: European Legal Traditions and their impact on the Construction of Gender in a Global Context de la red internacional de investigación Gender Differences in European Legal Cultures, cuyo objetivo es reunir a investigadores que analizan en perspectiva histórica el significado y la función de las diferencias de género en las culturas jurídicas europeas. El congreso ha tenido lugar en Vancouver (Canadá) y ha sido organizado por los centros Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia, y the University of Northern British Columbia. Ha reunido a una cuarentena de investigadores de todo el mundo.
