The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration welcomes 89 foreign students, and holds a corporate meeting based on practical experiences

Today, Monday, 18 September,a conference will be held at ESTE, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Deusto in San Sebastian; itwill be focused on a reflection on internationalisation applied both to the university and the business spheres. In the morning, the programme will include a welcoming ceremony for those foreign students studying at this Faculty this year; in the afternoon, a Corporate Meeting will be held on "Redes de Internacionalización de las PYMES Vascas" during which, the challenges faced by Basque SMEs in the sphere of internationalisation wil be examined through successful corporate practical experiences.

In the morning, a total of 89 students from 14 different countries will be welcomed and introduced to those that will be their lecturers and tutors during their stay at the campus this year. Most of the foreign students are French (35), Dutch (16), German (8) and North American (7), although there are also students from a wide range of countries such as Sweden, Poland, UK, Mexico, Italy, Finland, Denmark, Chile, Brazil and Argentina.

Then, in the afternoon, ESTE faculty, along with the Chamber of Guipúzcoa, will be holding a Corporate Meeting on "Redes de Internacionalización de las Pymes Vascas"; Participants include: corporate executives and ESTE alumni, who will be welcomed by Víctor Urcelay, Dean of ESTE, and Asier Barandiaran member of the Chamber of Guipúzcoa.
