A Deusto student Lara Díaz de Greñu, awarded a grant under the Vulcanus programme in Japan

A Deusto student of telecommunications engineering, Lara Díaz de Greñu, has been awarded a grant under the Vulcanus programme in Japan. With over 800 applications submitted each year, the 40 best students of engineering, architecture and sciences in the European Union are selected to spend a whole year in Japan studying the language and undertaking industrial work placements in companies in that country. During the first four months of their stay abroad, participants will attend an intensive Japanese language course in Tokyo, and in the following next eight months, they will undertake industrial work placements in Japanese companies.
