Bilbao Campus
On 23 September, the University of Deusto welcomed the Ambassador of Malta to Spain, Emmanuel Mallia, accompanied by the country’s Honorary Consul in Bilbao, Professor Íñigo Nagore. During their visit, they held an institutional meeting with the University’s Rector, Juan José Etxeberria, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Research, Javier Arellano, as well as with two representatives from the Deusto Global unit, part of the Vice-Rector’s Office for International Relations and Research, Laura Vega and Paula Comellas.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the current areas of collaboration between the University of Deusto and the University of Malta, as well as to explore new opportunities for cooperation. Potential synergies between different faculties were explored, with possible interest in both academic and business areas. The visit ended with a short tour of the campus, giving the Maltese delegation a closer insight into the University of Deusto’s campus environment.
