The University of Deusto held a new Deusto Law Alumni meeting on Tuesday, 16 January, between Antonio Garamendi, president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE) and former Deusto Law School students who are currently working in Madrid. The aim of the seminar was to discuss the challenges facing companies today and the technological challenges they face. It was held at the headquarters of Voxel School, an affiliated centre of the University of Deusto in Madrid.

During the debate, which was moderated by David Fernández de Retana, president of Deusto Law Alumni, the guest speaker shared his memories of when he studied law at Deusto, and also talked about the social atmosphere of the time and university life. He also looked back on the career path that led to the executive position he holds today, and commented on how he sees university education and the university's role today. He then went into the main topics of current business affairs and the role of Artificial Intelligence in the future.

The aim of these Alumni meetings is to bring together former students of the University of Deusto around current topics and reflections that serve to meet with people in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.
