Last Saturday, the session was particularly devoted to the wide range of degrees taught at Deusto. At the different stands, lecturers could meet prospective students and answer any queries they might have. And those who already had a clear idea of what they would like to study could even submit their Application for Admission. Likewise, students from the School of Social Work held workshops on this degree and career, as well as case study simulation. Visitors could also enjoy the performances from the Askartza Euskal Dantza and the Theatre Workshop groups, and the new UD mascots.

'U' and 'D' mascot launch

These new mascotswere first launchedon the open day that washeld last Saturday. Participants witnessed how the University of Deusto acronymwas brought to life through two new mascots, the 'U' and the 'D'. Two experts in theatrical animation gave life to the UD acronym, two big blue 'characters' designed by experts in creating animated mascots, according to the Corporate Identity of the University of Deusto. Endowed with hands, feet and face, all that remains now is to find a name for the new university mascots. That is why the 'naming' competition has been organised to find the most appropriate name for these university characters.

The idea is to make 'U' and 'D' part of university life so that they can participate in those activities organised by the University of Deusto in an enjoyable and playful way. In fact, they are expected to be brought to life again on the 3rd Career Forum, which will be held next 21 and 22 March.
