Deusto will be the only accredited centre in Vizcaya to conduct these official French exams

Next academic year 2007-2008, the Centre of Modern Languages at the University of Deusto will be the only accredited centre in Vizcaya to conduct the different DELF-DALF exams, awarded by the French Ministry of Education. The only other official centre in the Basque Country is the French Alliance in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The first exam sitting at the University of Deusto will be held next February 2008.

Bilbao Campus

The DELF (Diplme d'études de langue franaise) and DALF (Diplme approfondi de langue franaise) Diplomas are official diplomas in French language, awarded by the French Ministry of Education. They correspond to the 6 levels within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages from the Council of Europe. The DELF/DALF diplomas offer the possibility of taking 6 independent diplomas: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2, DALF C1and DALF C2.


The Centre of Modern Languages at the University of Deusto will continue to consolidate and to strengthen its effort in the design and teaching of French courses aimed at all levels and objectives, both for the university community and for the general public.
