The Faculty of Engineering in the UNIVERSITIES FOR GOAL 13

Students Nerea Carranza, Carolina Henríquez, and Adrián Sola presented the ENGINEERING4ALL initiative today in the UNIVERSITIES FOR ALL competition, organized by SIEMENS ENERGY and the SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS NETWORK. UNIVERSITIES FOR ALL is a competition in which students from eight countries participated, presenting project initiatives to combat climate change. A team from each country reached this final phase, presented today, where Carolina, Adrián, and Nerea presented their idea, developed with the support of Aitor Goti, Aintzane Conde, and Cristina Giménez, from the Faculty of Engineering. The project presented by Adrián, Nerea, and Carolina has focused on promoting a) the development of values and skills geared toward sustainability to generate a culture for actively combating climate change, and b) the volume of engineering resources allocated to combating climate change.
