IK4-TEKNIKER, Deusto Business School and Deusto Business Alumni have signed an education cooperation agreement to foster closer relations between the business and academic worlds. The aim is to create contacts, assist graduates as they embark on their careers and give business a greater role in university life. The agreement intends to provide Deusto Business School students and Deusto Business Alumni with a closer look at companies’ needs and demands for qualified professionals to fill management and leadership positions.
In today’s increasingly competitive environment, IK4-TEKNIKER is aware of the key role of collaboration between organisations from different spheres to provide innovative solutions which rapidly address companies' needs. This agreement signed with the University of Deusto forms part of a strategy to prompt collaboration with the world of academics. The agreement between these two leading Basque entities was signed by the Director General of IK4-TEKNIKER, Alejandro Bengoa, and the Dean of DBS, Guillermo Dorronsoro.
It envisages especially advantageous conditions for members of the technology centre who enter DBS Open and Executive Master's programmes and participation in the design and implementation of research and development projects which can be applied in companies with the collaboration of students and lecturers.
IK4-TEKNIKER will place preferential attention on internship agreements for DBS undergraduate and graduate students and may offer speakers for conferences and seminars held for alumni and partner firms.
The two entities agree to work together to disseminate specialist content through different channels and the technology centre will be granted special access to DBA's various advertising media. The technology centre may also offer DBS alumni its products and services at special prices.
