Debate on music, copyright and the Internet at the University of Deusto

Last 28 February, within the Law Open Week, the Legal Debate entitled, ?Music, copyright and the Internet? was hosted by the Faculty of Law at the University of Deusto. Participants included: Francisco Lledó Yagüe, lawyer from 'Lledó y Asociados' law firm, and professor of Civil Law at the University of Deusto; Mikel Ruiz Baigorrotegui, member of the University of Deusto Debating Club, and a representative of the Spanish Authors? Rights Society, SGAE, (member of the legal Consultancy service of the Spanish Authors? Rights Society).

This debate was co-chaired by Ramón Múgica Alcorta, Director of the Legal Debates, notary and lecturer in Administrative Law at the University of Deusto, who opened this event, and Jorge Caramés Puente, lawyer from ?Uría y Menéndez? law firm, and lecturer in Civil Law at the University of Deusto, who chaired the debate.

Apart from this event, on 1 March, the Law Week also organised the screening of the film ?The Verdict?, directed by Sydney Lumet in 1982, and starring Paul Newman.
