San Sebastian Campus

On 23 February, the University of Deusto San Sebastian campus will host the closing ceremony of the third Master's degree in International Business. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a welcome speech by Amaia Arizkuren, Director of this programme in International Business. Carmen Becerril (a board member of Acciona) will then deliver the last Master’s lecture: International Sustainable Development Goals and Access to Energy. The ceremony will conclude with a farewell to the students on the programme and the award of appreciation diplomas to the academic staff and partner companies.

The programme features compulsory internships, an intercultural work atmosphere and close collaboration with the business world. It is the first officially recognised Master’s degree in International Business taught fully in English in the Basque Country. This is a pioneering initiative both for future executives who wish to specialise in globalisation of business as well as companies that need to improve their international management. The programme has been designed for young people of any nationality. The competences acquired on the programme are equivalent to those envisaged in a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. The studies focus on helping future executives to identify business opportunities abroad, design and put international business strategy into practice. Special attention is paid to the key aspects of international management in each department (marketing, finance, human resources...) and the specific characteristics of the different geographic areas. The programme also offers compulsory internships in international firms across the world.
