5 March was the day chosen to celebrate the investiture ceremony of the new graduates of the Bilbao campus in Business Administration and Management (ADE), ADE + Management in Digital Environments - DED and ADE + Financial Analyst Basics - FAB who completed their four years of studies in 2021.
After the mass celebrated in the gothic chapel of the University, the retinue of authorities, professors and alumni went to the auditorium. The ceremony began with a rendition of Agur Jaunak by the Deustoarrak choir.
Laura Marquez (ADE) and Jon Iriondo (ADE + FAB) were the representatives of the alumni who addressed some moving words to those present about their experiences during their studies at Deusto.
This was followed by the swearing in of a new graduate in Spanish, Iñigo Ingunza (ADE + FAB), and a new graduate, Ainhoa Bárcenas, in Basque. After this solemn declaration, the Dean, Álvaro de la Rica, presented them with their scholarships as a symbol of the award of the degree obtained.
Then, the Secretary of the Faculty, Macarena Cuenca, who acted as master of ceremonies, named the rest of the new graduates, who went up to the podium to receive their scholarships.
The president of Deusto Business Alumni, Agustín Garmendia, addressed a few words to the new graduates, encouraging them to be part of the association, which this year celebrates its centenary.
