This event entitled, '50 years of university excellence in business administration', was attended by over 1,800 guests. It brought together ESTE's alumni from the past 50 years, as well as authorities from the institutional, political and social world.
During this ceremony, a talk followed by discussion was held on 'Un mirada al futuro de la empresa', chaired by writer and expert in scientific issues Eduardo Punset. Participants in this discussion included: Alejandro Echeverría, Chairman of Telecinco TV channel, and of the Basque Employers' Association, Rosa Mª García, Chief Executive of Microsoft Ibérica, and Víctor Urcelay, Dean of ESTE. These four members discussed about the keys to the companies prepared for the future, and the role played by ESTE in this regard, as a Faculty historically committed to its social and corporate environment.
In addition, the audiovisual presentation entitled: 'ESTE: pasado, presente y futuro' was shown. Here, the differences and similarities of the faculty's past and present were presented, as well as the future challenges it is committed to.
The closing event was a dance performance by Aukeran Group. Immediately afterwards, and during the cocktail reception, the Kursaal's foyer hosted a number of meeting points for the different group of graduates to encourage reunion between former classmates.
