In the frame of EIP-AHA’s Action Group on Age Friendly Environments (D4), the University has joined two newly formed working groups: the European Collaborative Forum on Dementia Supportive Communities, and the Working Community on Architecture, Housing, and Urban Development (AHUD).

The European Collaborative Forum on Dementia Supportive Communities aims at jointly improving the lives of people with dementia and their carers by finding good practices of prevention from (further) functional decline, technology support, carer support, and care provisions. While the working group on AHUD seeks to actively share knowledge, collaborate on research and other projects and present a common vision on how these elements of the spatial context contribute to active and healthy ageing.
