In this ninth year of the CyD ranking, Deusto has participated in the field of computer engineering, improving the number of excellence indicators and becoming the best university in Spain in this field outside Madrid and Catalonia, and the main benchmark in the north of Spain.
The Rector of the University, José María Guibert, pointed out that these positive results confirm the current quality of Deusto's university project, committed to excellence in teaching and learning for its students, as well as in research and in its marked international vocation. "Five years ago Deusto had 16 high performance indicators, three years ago 18 and last year 21. With this year's 23, CyD measures and confirms that the UD is on the right track in improving its performance in many areas of the university mission, thanks to the deployment of the policies established in the university’s successive strategic plans".
