The SAREA project “Desarrollo y difusión de modelos de atención a la infancia y a personas mayores basados en los intercambios transfronterizos de prácticas innovadoras entre los profesionales de Pirineos Atlánticos y Guipúzcoa” has been granted by the 2nd Call of Interreg Poctefa 2014-2020.
The project is formed by a consortium of three institutions: Etcharry Formation Développment (coordinator), Nazaret Fundazioa and the University of Deusto and has a duration of 36 months. During this period, the project seeks to improve the services for children and for the elderly in Guipúzcoa and the Atlantic Pyrenees by the development of innovative models and practices encouraging the empowerment of users and families in the design of their lives. For this purpose, SAREA proposes to consolidate a cross-border network of professionals within the domain of social action in the territory.
The Kick of meeting of the project will be the 28th of February in Ustaritz.
