The European project Lifebrain coordinated by the University of Oslo has invited the Neurolab research team of the University of Deusto to disseminate the project and keep informed as many European Union citizens as possible about its results and impact.
The Global Brain Health Survey has been elaborated in the framework of the European project Lifebrain and aims to study the determinants of lifestyle and brain mechanisms associated with optimising brain health throughout life.
Why should you answer the survey?
The brain is one of the most important body organs. Brain disorders now account for approximately one third of all diseases. However, we still know very little about how people think about their brain and their brain health. If we knew more, we could develop policy recommendations to help people take care of their brain in a way that fits their daily life.
The survey aims to raise the general population's awareness of the importance of brain health while also establishing communication channels between researchers and citizens.
Anyone above 18 years of age can respond to the survey. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and all answers are anonymous.
The Lifebrain project
The survey is led by the Lifebrain Consortium in collaboration with the Norwegian Brain Council, Belgian Brain Council and the German Brain Council. The Lifebrain project is funded by the European Community and is coordinated by the University of Oslo. The consortium comprises 13 research studies from 8 European countries to examine the impact of genes, the environment and lifestyles on brain health throughout life. The answers will be stored on the Lifebrain secure server at the University of Oslo and only the members of the Lifebrain core research team will have access to the raw data.
You can answer to the survey at this page.
