Pedro Miguel Echenique, winner of the Prince of Asturias Award for Technical Scientific Research 1998, will give a lecture on the relevance of research in our society.
Following the success of the Basque Country Research Fair 2005 for secondary students and lecturers, and as part of the guidance and counselling programme of the University of Deusto for secondary students, the Research Conference 2007 will be held. On this occasion, the Professor of Condensed Matter Physics, Pedro Miguel Echenique, will give a lecture aimed at future researchers. In his lecture, he will stress the role played by research in the development of today?s society. This conference will be held next 3 May at 17:00 pm in the Paraninfo at the University of Deusto.
