Faculty of Education and Sport and AP Hogeschool Antwerpen join forces to launch a Virtual Exchange project

Professors Arantza Arruti and Nerea Gutiérrez, from the Faculty of Education and Sport of the University of Deusto, have met with teachers from the AP Hogeschool Antwerpen (Belgium) to launch a Virtual Exchange (VE) project that will allow active collaboration between the students of both institutions.

A Virtual Exchange is an educational program that connects people from different cultures and countries through online communication tools. Participants interact in guided discussions, collaborative projects and interactive activities, allowing them to develop intercultural understanding, language skills and teamwork without the need to travel.

These exchanges are usually organized by schools, universities or non-profit organizations, and can be conducted through video calls, forums or other digital platforms. This modality facilitates global learning experiences in an accessible, flexible and economical way.
