122 new graduates in the first class receiving their BA in Law This ceremony were held on Saturday, 8 March at 12:00 in the Main Hall, following a mass at 11:00 in the Gothic Chapel.

This first graduating class to receive their BA in Law was awarded their diplomas on Saturday, 8 March at 12:00 in the Main Hall, following a mass at 11:00 in the Gothic Chapel.

The event was presided by the Dean of Law's governing team and attended by many faculty members. The ceremony will begin with "Agur Jaunak", sung by the Cathedral of Bilbao's choir.

Following the reading of the procedures for conferral of bachelor's degrees by the Faculty Secretary, Javier Arrieta Idiakez, the Dean of the Law Faculty, José Luis Ávila Orive, gave the opening address.

Two students representing the graduating class received testamur. Jokin Ercoreca Abio received it in Basque and Estíbaliz Fernández Manrique in Spanish.

The investiture of the 122 graduates consists of the imposition of the BECA, performed by the Dean and the Vice-Dean of Academic Organisation, Inmaculada Herbosa.
The choir close the ceremony with "Gaudeamus Igitur".

The graduation ceremony for the last class receiving their licenciatura in Law was held on 1 February. 219 new Law graduates were awarded their diplomas.
