Gotzon Garate, was paid tribute at the University of Deusto by Basque philologists

The Basque Philology degree, created by Gotzon Garate, celebrates its 30th anniversary. For this reason, all the Basque philologists at the University of Deusto paid a warm and thankful tribute to him last 2 May, following that old Basque saying: "hasiak egina dirudi, eginak urregorri", that is, 'what has been started seems done, and what has been done is pure gold'. This saying is backed by the large number of Basque philologists who have studied at the University of Deusto for the last thirty years.News
