Fernando Trías, author of La Buena Suerte, will speak about the factors of failure in entrepreneurship with the students on the Ingenio entrepreneurship programme

Last 7 March, the group of 28 final-year students of Engineering, Business Administration and Management and Education Sciences at the University of Deusto, who take part in the Ingenio entrepreneurship programme, had a coffee-talk session with Fernando Trías. During this event, which was held in the Ingenio room (310 ESIDE), the author of well-known books like La Buena Suerte, spoke about his latest book El libro Negro del Emprendedor, in an attempt to provide an overview not only of the factors of success but also of the factors of failure ,so that they can be avoided regarding entrepreneurship.

These coffee-talk sessions are one of the additional activities that are part of the Ingenio Programme. This is an original initiative promoted by Deusto Foundation, whose aim is to promote business creation, the search for new business lines or the generation of innovative ideas. Other aims of this training programme are: to regard innovation as one of the key concepts for successful business creation and consider research on innovation as a means for professional development. In addition, this programme offers seminars and practical workshops.


As for seminars, they are held once a week in the Ingenio Room, an open and interactive space where students work in teams.To this purpose, the heads of the programme have developed methods for innovation management, aimed at making young students aware of innovation as an attitude.With regard to practical workshops, next 13 March a workshop on Business Plans will be held. Participants include Inazio irizar, author of books like El Reto de Ser Emprendedor?, among others.
