Lecturer Alberto Núñez will give a seminar on Zen's contribution to Christian mysticism
The University Pastoral Service has organised several seminars for lecturers, which will be held throughout this academic year 2006-2007. The first seminar, entitled 'Zen y mística cristiana', will be given by lecturer Alberto Núñez from November to December (four fortnightly sessions). This seminar will be based on a reflection upon the book by Enomiya Lasalle, 'Zen, un caminio hacia la propia identidad'. This reflection aims to answer the following questions: What is the relationship between 'enlightenment' and faith in God?, and What is Zen's contribution (whose origin lies in Buddhism) to Christian mysticism?
