Dolores Morondo has been appointed as new National Expert of the European Network of Legal Experts in Equality, replacing Amparo Ballester Pastor, Professor of the University of Valencia,who has been appointed as Chief of Staff in the Ministry of Labor. Dolores is principal investigator of the Pedro Arrupe Human Rights Institute research team and member of the Gender Interdisciplinary Research Platform.
The European Network of Legal Experts on Gender Equality and Non-discrimination provides information to the European Commission on the transposition and implementation of European legislation on this subject. The other Spanish national expert is Professor Lorenzo Cachón Rodríguez, Professor of Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid and expert in immigration management.
