Diploma Award Ceremony: Schools of Tourism and Social Work

On 16 February, a total of 44 students from the School of Tourism and 21 from the School of Social Work were presented with their diplomas at the Loiola Centrum, San Sebastian campus, University of Deusto. This formal event started at 12:00 pm, and it was presided over by the campus vice-rector, José María Guibert. It was also attended by academic staff and families, the Head of the School of Tourism, Iñaki Abaunz, the School of Social Work Coordinator at the San Sebastian campus, Cinta Guinot, and the campus Vice-Rector, José María Guibert, who formally conferred the degrees upon the new graduands.

This is the 41st group of diploma graduates in Tourism and the 8th group to have been awarded an officially approved degree. With regard to Social Work, this is the third graduation ceremony held at the San Sebastian campus.

Practically all these new graduates have completed their university degree in one of the over 18 foreign universities with which both the Schools of Tourism and Social Work have established international exchange agreements.
All the graduated students have undertaken placements in some of the over 250 companies and organisations with which the Schools of Tourism and Social Work have signed Educational Cooperation agreements for placements.
