The University of Deusto and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences of the Basque Country (COLCAFYD) have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen the connection between the university and professional sports sectors.
The agreement was signed by Arkaitz Larrinaga, president of the association, and Isabel Rubio, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Sport, at a ceremony held on the Bilbao campus.
The agreement aims to promote mutual understanding and long-term collaboration between the two institutions, encouraging the dissemination of activities, training programmes, and research projects that benefit both students and professional members.
Key initiatives include the joint organisation of courses, workshops, and conferences; the promotion of postgraduate and continuing education programmes; collaboration on university placements; and the development of research and innovative projects in the field of physical activity and sport.
With this alliance, Deusto and COLCAFYD reinforce their commitment to training excellence, innovation and the promotion of a more active and healthy society.
