As part of the 2025 National Socidrogalcohol Conference, held in Ourense, the awards for the best scientific papers and presentations were presented on 18 October. Among the award winners, the work “Percepción del marketing del juego online en adolescentes: diferencias según el nivel de riesgo de juego”, by Deusto researchers Laura Mendo, María Liendo, Ana Estévez, and Gema Aonso-Diego, received the “Dr Alicia Rodríguez Award”, endowed with €300, in the “Best Posters” category.
In addition, Gema Aonso-Diego, a postdoctoral researcher in the field of behavioural addictions, was recognised with the “Young Researcher” award, which includes registration for the 8th International Congress – 53rd National Socidrogalcohol Conference (2026) and a one-year membership as a Socidrogalcohol member.
