The Spanish Secretary of State of for Universities, Research, Development and Innovation hosted on 22 November an event to present the upcoming Information System on Science, Technology and Innovation - SICTI. DEIKER, DEUSTO’s OTRI (Research Results Transfer Office), participated in the event where it was presented and discussed the results of the working group work on indicators of transfer and innovation. DEIKER is member of this group which also gathers other universities, public research organisations, technology centres, as well as Spanish Ministry staff working in the fields of planning and evaluation of R&D&I. The transfer of knowledge and innovation are basic aspects not only in the scientific field but also in the country economic and social development. Hence, the importance of being able to design the adequate mechanisms helping to advance in this area and to have precise, truthful and homogenous information on the transfer and innovation process.
