Bilbao Campus
Bilbao Next Lab is an initiative within the Framework Cooperation Agreement signed between the City of Bilbao and the University of Deusto in order to provide answers to the society of Bilbao on issues of particular importance for the economic and social development of the city. The launching of this initiative took place in a seminar held at the CRAI Building of the University of Deusto on Thursday 17 October 2013. It was attended by representatives of the university community, the City Council of Bilbao and other stakeholders participating in this a project which aims to define a model and policy tools for the economic transformation of Bilbao.
Participants in the project will work on the basis of the cogeneration of knowledge and mutual learning. Researchers will generate knowledge and stakeholders will develop capacities to address the challenges of articulating a new model of productive transformation.
