On 8 March 2020, the University of Deusto joined the celebration of the International Women's Day to claim real and effective equality between women and men and to make visible and recognise the work that women do both at the University and in society.
The contributions that women are making to science and knowledge, through teaching, research and management within the Universities, is something that the CRUE has also wanted to recognise in its 8M manifesto.
