Mª Luz Guenaga holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Deusto. Currently, she serves as Associate Dean for Institutional Relations and Communication and Tenured Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto, where she teaches subjects related to Programming. She was a member and director of the Deusto LearningLab research team and is affiliated with the Deustek research group, recognized with the highest rating (Group A) by the Basque Government. Her research focuses on the application of technology in education, the development of STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths), game-based learning, and learning analytics. She is the leader and driving force behind the Inspira STEAM project, which aims to foster scientific-technological vocations (especially among young girls), and possesses extensive experience in managing and coordinating research and innovation projects at both national and European levels.
