Bilbao Campus
This April (17-19 April) the first learning and training activity of the Erasmus+ DDriven Project ("Transforming businesses into Deaf-friendly environments: Dual-curricula and a dedicated hiring pool") was held, coordinated by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto.
The activity focused on the education and experiential training of trainers from the countries that make up the DDriven consortium (Spain, Italy, Romania, Cyprus and Turkey). Through this workshop, trainers were equipped using the DDriven curriculum, and collaborative work was conducted with members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community in Turkey and expert talks and lectures were delivered, which will aid in fostering an empathetic and inclusive attitude towards this community.
