Garate room
The Pedro Fabro Association of Retired Persons of the University of Deusto inaugurates the academic year with a new series of lectures, this year dealing with the topic of integrative health. The cycle will begin on Tuesday, October 15, at 11:30 a.m., in the Garate Room, with a talk by Rafael Bengoa entitled 'How will we be cared for and cured in the future'.
This year, the talks seek to address health from a comprehensive and integrative viewpoint. The association argues that health is a complex and multilayered concept and therefore cannot be viewed from a single angle or from isolated angles. Thus, this series presents a comprehensive approach, combining different areas of knowledge to promote a shared, integrated and collective perspective of what we call health.
The talks, coordinated by Begoña Matellanes and Marisa Amigo, will take place on various dates from October to May, always at 11:30 a.m. in the Garate Room. and will be given by professionals, researchers and experts from different disciplines from both the University of Deusto and other universities.
