The Horizon 2020 BD4QoL project (Big Data Models and Intelligent tools for Quality-of-Life monitoring and participatory empowerment of head and neck cancer survivors) has almost completed its first year, during which the University of Deusto has worked with clinicians defining the project’s conceptual model and the behavioral markers. These behavioral markers will be the basis for the prediction of the Quality of Like (QoL) evolution and the late toxicities in cancer survivors. In 2021 the project will start creating QoL models using the retrospective data provided by the University Hospital Bristol, Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori and the University of Mainz.
