The Economist has prepared a ranking in which almost 500 higher education institutions from the Ibero-American world have been analysed to study the innovation and digitisation of these institutions. The objective is to highlight those institutions who, aware of the need to transform the educational system, have taken a step forward by changing, updating and creating new structures and methodologies to face the digital age.
The purpose of this classification is to highlight the most innovative universities and business schools, which have updated their programmes and methodologies. A change in thinking that will benefit society and strengthen the business fabric, making it more qualified and competitive.
The indicators that have been used for this classification are based on different aspects: the innovation that the universities have applied to their methodology; the use of cutting-edge learning tools; a curriculum focused on the fourth industrial revolution; teaching staff combining academics with experts who know the business reality; internationalisation of the institution, in addition to other awards and recognitions obtained.
