The Rector of the University of Deusto, José María Guibert, is one of the 50 representatives of the world of culture and social environment chosen by the Fair Saturday Foundation to participate in the Fair Saturday-Fsf, an international meeting in which BBK also collaborates together with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the City Council of Bilbao. From 3 May to 15 June, and for the first time in digital format, these leaders have provided their views on culture and social innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his intervention, DEUSTO Rector said that “..we need visionary people, who are involved in society as well as public and private entities to promote social initiative”. In his view when we speak about the future, we have to involve “technology, education, social initiative and values."
