The project team FINS/RIESS (Researcher's identity education on Social Sciences) held a meeting in Barcelona on the 8th and 9th of June to present the initial results of the first part of the research and to agree on the plan for the coming months. Representing their team at the University of Deusto, Manuela Alvarez and Itziar Elexpuru took part in the meeting, jointly with Concepción Yániz and Lourdes Villardón.
The project aims to create knowledge and efficient and effective resources for defining profiles in junior Social Sciences researchers in the European context.
The project, funded by the Spanish National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013 (I+D+I MEC «RETOS INVESTIGACIÓN» 2013), is led by Ramon Llull University-Blanquerna with the participation of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Deusto. It also includes an international team from the University of Helsinki, the University of Oxford and the University of Dartmouth.
