Deusto and the Official Professional College of Social Work reinforce collaboration in training, research and knowledge transfer

The University of Deusto and the Official Professional College of Social Work of Bizkaia have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of strengthening the link between academia and the professional field, in addition to promoting training, research and knowledge transfer in Social Work. This agreement consolidates a long history of collaborative work between the Social Work degree of the Bilbao campus and the Professional Association and opens new scenarios of cooperation. 

The signing ceremony was attended by the rector of Deusto, Juan Jose Etxeberria, and the president of the Official Professional College of Social Work of Bizkaia, Elixabete Domínguez. They were accompanied, on behalf of the University, by Ane Ferran, dean of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences; Edurne González, head of the Social Work degree; and Amaia Mosteiro, coordinator of Social Work at the Bilbao campus. For its part, the Professional Association was represented by Ainhoa Resano, vice-president; Marta Semedo, treasurer; and Irati Basagoti, coordinator and social worker.
