Aiming to reinforce the link between business and the academic world, IK4-TEKNIKER, Deusto Business School and Deusto Business Alumni have signed an educational partnership agreement which intends to foster collaboration, assist Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree students to enter the job market and make the company more visible in the university environment. The agreement aims to give Deusto Business School’s current students and Deusto Business Alumnil (DBA) a more precise idea of the management skills demanded of qualified professionals by today’s companies. IK4-TEKNIKER is aware of the growing importance of cooperation among entities from different fields, which is essential to provide innovative solutions that give a fast response to the needs of companies on today’s increasingly competitive scenario. In this context, the strategy which has been implemented aiming to create collaboration with the academic field sets the framework for this agreement with the University of Deusto. The agreement between this two reference entities in the Basque Country was signed by the Director General of IK4-TEKNIKER, Alejandro Bengoa, and the DBS Dean, Guillermo Dorronsoro . The agreement envisages special enrolment conditions for the technology centre’s members in Deusto Business School’s open programmes and executive Master's programmes. Other points include participation in the design and launch of research initiatives and development of projects to implement in companies in collaboration with students and lecturers. IK4-TEKNIKER will focus on the organisation of partnership agreements for external internships for DBS Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students and will propose lecturers to speak at conferences and seminars for alumni and partner companies. Both entities agree to collaborate in the diffusion of specialised content through different channels. The technology centre will be able to make use of DBA’s various advertising sites. Moreover, the technology centre will also offer alumni special prices and terms for the products and services they sell.
