This Seminar, which was taught in English, was an activity within the USA-European Union cooperation programme. Partner institutions from both sides (basically well-known Universities) took part in it. In the case of Deusto, the Faculty of Law is a member centre of this programme (European community- United States of America Alternative Dispute Resolution Fellows Program).

This seminar was carried out with educational models that required the student?s involvement, and new technologies such as video or the internet were used. In this sense, special emphasis was placed on the trasantlantic resolution that took place. Also, participating teams had to solve an international trade dispute, discussing with the American, Italian and French teams via email.
