Legal debate on 'El papel de las víctimas en el proceso de paz' at the University of Deusto

Last 23 May, the Faculty of Law at the University of Deusto organised a legal debate on 'El papel de las víctimas en el proceso de paz'. This event, which was hosted in collaboration with the Bar Association of Vizcaya, was attended by Xabier Etxeberría, professor and director of the Ethics Lecture Room at Deusto; Jonan Fernández, Elkarri ex-coordinator; José María Múgica, lawyer linked to 'Basta Ya', and activist of PSOE socialist party; María Oiangure, researcher at the Gernika Gogoratuz Centre for Peace Research; and Txema Urkijo, Deputy Director for the attention to victims of terrorism in the Basque Country. The round table was co-chaired by Ramón Múgica, director of the Legal Debates, notary and lecturer in Administrative Law at the University of Deusto, and Nazario Oleaga, lawyer and Dean of the Bar Association of Vizcaya.
