Students on the Master’s degree programme in European and International Business Management (a joint degree of the University of Deusto, Audencia Business School and Bradford University) have found an answer to this key question which is an underlying topic of the case study “Mondragón in the USA”, published recently by Harvard University.

These students were afforded the opportunity to compare their answers to this case study with those of its key actors in the final session of the subject entitled "European Strategy". Prof. Sébastien Fosse (Organisational Behaviour and Sustainability, Deusto Business School) invited two prominent actors from Lks-Mondragon: Fernando Fernandez de Landa (director of the Americas) and Germán Lorenzo Ochoa (Asia-Pacific director and a 1991-1992 graduate of this programme).

Fernando and Germán enthusiastically responded to questions raised by the Master’s students from four continents. The students centred on Mondragón’s recent and future strategy and were eager to learn from the experiences of two leading directors on the international scene. Their aim was to learn how to manage social innovation and lead internationalisation in their firms in the future.
