Prof. Antonio Manrique de Luna Barrios, lecturer in Public International Law and International Organisations, took part in the seminar: “How to teach and research International Organisations?” Organised by the International Studies Department of the Ibero-American University in Mexico City.
His speech, entitled: “Academic research in the scope of the European Union” set the new framework for researchers in the EU.
Leading Mexican and international experts took part in the event. Some of the most outstanding were Laura Zamudio, PhD, Thomas Legler, PhD and Richard Kareem Al-Qaq, PhD.
Prof. Manrique de Luna also participated in the First Meeting on Law, Security and Defence: “New legal challenges in view of new threats” at the University of Comillas, led by Susana de Tomás Morales, Head of the Public Law Department, University of Comillas.
He gave a paper analysing "The European Union's role in the scope of peace and regional and international security".
Prof. Manrique de Luna is a member of the research team, European Integration, led by Prof. Beatriz Pérez de las Heras at the University of Deusto.
