Begoña Garcia Zapirain visits the University of Louisville

As part of the research activities on Active and Healthy Ageing of University of Deusto eLIFE research group, the researcher Begoña García Zapirain is visiting the University of Louisville, in the United States of America. During her stay, she will be working with different departments of this university, among other, on activities of Computer Games as a therapy with evaluation of multivariable biofeedback. In this field, the University of Louisville maintains a close collaboration on aging issues with the company Kindret Healthcare, a pioneer in advanced services for senior population both in their own houses and nursing homes. The stay of Dr. García Zapirain and the joint work between the three organizations is leading to knowledge transfer and new opportunities for future collaboration on the field of Active and Healthy Ageing.
