The SAREA project “Desarrollo y difusión de modelos de atención a la infancia y a personas mayores basados en los intercambios transfronterizos de prácticas innovadoras entre los profesionales de Pirineos Atlánticos y Guipúzcoa”, funded by Interreg Poctefa 2014-2020, was launched in Ustaritz (France) on 19 April 2018.
The Project was officially presented by the three involved institutions: Etcharry Formation Développement (coordinator), University of Deusto and Nazaret Fundazioa.
The project has a duration of 36 months and aims to improve the services for children and for the elderly in Gipuzkoa and the Atlantic Pyrenees, through the development of innovative models and practices that empower users and families in the design of their lives. For this purpose, SAREA proposes to consolidate a cross-border network of professionals working in the area of social action.
