New article: “Weaving institutional change: feminist networking to achieve gender equality in academia”

María López Belloso, member of the Gender Interdisciplinary Research Platform has published the article “Weaving institutional change: feminist networking to achieve gender equality in academia” in the Gender Politics at Edinburgh and in the H2020 Gearing-Roles Project blog.

María López Belloso, who recently finished a nominated fellowship with IASH-genderED, describes this experience which, although impacted by COVID-19, provided her with the opportunity of learning and getting so much inspiration. In particular, she highlights the genderED’s approach to gender mainstreaming in teaching and research, which is sometimes pushed into the background of Gender Equality Plans, relying on the commitment of the researchers engaged.
