The exhibition Women & Neuropsychology will be held the last week of November at the University of Deusto. In this exhibition infographics and illustrations of the most influential women neuroscientists will be displayed.
The idea of this project was proposed by 4 lecturers and researchers, Acebo Garcia Guerrero, Naroa Ibarretxe Bilbao, Natalia Ojeda del Pozo and Leire Zubiaurre Elorza, who teach subjects on the field of the Biology of Behaviour in the Grade of Psychology. Their aim is to make the contribution of women neuroscientists visible and to involve students in the process. As part of this initiative, students have been asked to find information about female neuroscientists who had been previously selected by their teachers. In particular, information about their biographies, research careers, main contributions and their impact. The main outputs of the project were an infographic and an illustration of each of the female scientists selected, which will be showed in this exhibition from the 25-29 of November 2019.
