Investigadora, profesional y docente en las áreas de migraciones forzadas, acción humanitaria y conflictos armados. Politóloga y doctorada en Derechos Humanos, ha centrado su investigación en los derechos económicos y sociales de las personas desplazadas internas y refugiadas en ciudades, particularmente en el derecho a vivienda y el derecho a un medio de vida, así como en la inclusión y la agencia de las personas en situación de desplazamiento forzado, especialmente en el continente africano. En su trayectoria académica ha trabajado en centros de investigación como la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Cardiff University y McGill University, así como en organizaciones humanitarias internacionales como Médicos Sin Fronteras. Su vinculación como docente en la Universidad de Deusto se inició con su participación en el Master NOHA de Acción Humanitaria y es ahora parte del equipo docente en el área de Relaciones Internacionales.
